I use Wordpress for most of my blogs, which is a fair amount. It is far better than Blogger in so many ways, though I do use Blogger for this one being as the Google search engine seems to like Blogger blogs better than Wordpress blogs, which is no surprise as Blogger is owned by Google. We have struggled with how to make a Wordpress blog more search engine friendly an have found some winning combinations. MakeUseOf.com recently posted a piece about some plugins for Wordpress that can help you with this:
First up is SEO Friendly Images – as you can imagine, it helps you automatically optimize your images so search engines can see them. Search engines are not real people and they cannot see images. To index images they rely on Alt Image Tags which in plain English means Alternate Image Tags. You tag them and the search engines read them.
